Fighter squad leaders please take the following positions
Outer CAP
Leader: Viff
Position: 60km at 240degs from the convoy patrolling a 20km north/south line
Height: P47 at 8000mtr plus, Lagg & La5 at 5000mtr
It is of great importance that the P47 aggresively attack axis contacts as soon as they are sighted on the radar
do not get stuck into a fight but make conservative slashing attacks primarily concerned with maintaining your energy
try to damage or push down the enemy fighters.
The Lagg and La should be waiting behind you to attack any aircraft that drop down
Only commit one flight of P47 to the B&Z keeping the second flight very high in case axis fighters turn up above the P47
If axis aircraft are above the P47 then all flights to disengage and retreat we must keep the aircraft losses down
Inner CAP
Leaders: Pask & Armand
Position 1: 30km at 300degs from the convoy - Armand
Position 2: 30km at 225degs from the convoy - Pask
Height: As you see fit
Any enemy aircraft that pass by the outer CAP should be aggresively attacked
you must fully commit to the attack focusing on the fighters particularly the bomb carrying fighters such as the Me.210 and Fw190
Goalkeeper CAP
Leader: Classic
Position 1: I-185s position directly over the convoy at 5000mtr
Position 2: Hurricanes position 15km North-East of the convoy at 7500mtr
