We have a zoned defence plan with each group able to offer mutual assistance when required, for this to work we will need whisper keys to speak to the flight leaders.
We are also going to layer our fighter screen, the outer screen will be our nimble but slow aircraft, the intention for these is to engage or distract the enemy fighter sweep and drag them into a flak zone (either an airfield or a task force)
The other half of our fighters will be held back in reserve well inland or even south of the island. Remember the enemy outnumber us and can if they wish stage a large fighter sweep and bring in bombers after they pushed us out of the way. Our fighters are on a par with the Italian fighters but the 109 and 110 outclass even our Hurricanes. To have any chance in this campaign we are going to have to play smart. The inner screen or reserve fighters are to stay out of the fight until we can confirm bombers or transport planes are coming in.
Here is the plan
EAF - 6 a/c
2xBlenheim - 11Sqn - Anti-shipping sweep due north of Crete.
4xGladiator - 80Sqn - Outer Screen
Patrol around the task force located north west of Crete. The task force has radar. If you are engaged by fighters drag them down over the taskforce.
102nd - 12 a/c
3xP.11c - 22nd Mira - Outer Screen
Patrol the north coast in the central sector, be prepared to help in the east or west. If you are engaged by fighters drag them down onto the airfield.
4xMs.406 - 24th Mira - Inner Screen
Climb to height and hold over the south coast in the central sector.
2xF.Battles - 33rd Mira - Bomb airfield on Santorini Island, target parked a/c.
1xSunderland (H8K1) - 111Sqn - Photo Recon.
Photograph the two axis airfields on Greece, 5 photos on each please.

Patrol north-east of Heraklion, keep an eye on the radar screen which will allow you to watch further east. If you get engaged by fighters drag them down onto the ships or over Heraklion airfield.
4xHurricane Ib - 208Sqn - Inner Screen
Climb to height and hold over the White Mountains on the south coast of the west sector.
69GIAP - 4a/c
4xHurricane Ia - 33Sqn - Inner Screen
Climb to height and hold position south-east of Heraklion.
NOTES FOR ALL FIGHTER PILOTS.
1) All pilots flying fighters are required to wait on the ground for 10-15mins, this is a measure we must take to conserve fuel.
2) All pilots please pay attention to the chat bar and enable whispers.
3) All fighter pilots please disregard the briefings and way points that you find in game. The briefing you should follow is the one you see here.
Finally may I remind everyone that you must land at the correct airfield or your a/c will be delayed for one extra mission, try your best please.
