FoF Proposal

Hi, I am Mystic_J v.CO of 391vFS of e-haf (e- Hellenic Air Force) www.e-haf.org

Some guys here, already, know me and I know them as well. Hi to all.

The reason I post here is beceause I have a proposal for you.

How about to organize a Force on Force (Humans vs Humans) mission between our virtual squadrons?

The benefits of such events are enormous and all the participants will enhance their knowledge on complex missions, such as COMAO ones.

We can organize such events on a regular basis. I did contact you first, because I already know some guys here and we are on the same time zone.

Well, what do u have to say?

As the commander of 140 V.Fighter Squadron (flyin' Open Falcon 4.5) I would first say that this (yours) idea, is just great, and has so many benifits as you already said.
and second of all, I would like to ask you what kind of Missions does your Squadron commonly perfoem on a weekly base ?
and more over, I would like to ensure that we both speaking about the same Version (OF 4.5) .

I think as well that it's a great idea. It's a wonderful opertunity to fly with other virtual squadrons from the world, not only Israelis, and to expiriense fighting and both training and learning with new types of aircrafts (like yours, the mirages and so on..).

I think it will be good to orginaze a specific day in a week or any given time, that the Israeli and HAF squadrons will train and fly together missions.

I hope to see you all with us in the virtual skies, and come visit the Israeli theatre.

As well Fox5inbound is the commander of a great Israeli squadron, and you can talk with him about everything about this.

There are quite a few IL2 pilots who also fly AF and I'm sure they would be interested
We fly in scenarios on a regular bassis in IL2 with other squadrons from around the world

Scenarios in AF would definetly be of interest for us

your idea is fantastic, and iam looking for a partner for this subject for months.
some questions if u dont mind.. 💡

-- is it with the idfl model as what ment to be there and will eb in the future?
--- is it western versus western or mix. cause some like the italian wanted the other side to be eastern planes only thing i couldent acsept.
--- and last how much pilots are you, and do u represent your squad/ your virtual air force or just your own opinion.

i myself would eb happy to gather pilots with me and do such a meeting for i belive its the best you can get on this game and at the sim world .

me and my sqaud fly af.

if not a force vs force would also be nice (as afik said) to do traning together as a start.. and c how it goes the communication and time set between.

Most missions we fly involve inner-squadron FoF.(Humans vs. Humans). Typically, we fly COMAOs vs. CAPs+ GBADs trying to simulate -more or less- the real thing

For example, just like the FoF proposal I made, the COMAO (SWEEP + SEAD + FORCE PACKAGE + ESCORT) is manned by ,approximately, 20 to 30 v.pilots, whilst the CAPs from 8-12 plus the SAM coverage.

Due to the complexity of such missions, we used to promote only quite experienced pilots to COMAOs. However, such missions require a lot of studying (lots of free time-luxury item). Thus, nowadays, we advocate a policy of accepting even rookies (greenhorners) and we are trying to compensate for the less available free time by promoting an effective OJT On Job Training)



Hence, the FoF proposal between our squadrons satisfies the aforementioned target of our squadron; that is to increase the experience of non-experienced v.pilots in a demanding online aerial arena. At the same time, I believe that such an event is a non zero sum game, therefore contributes to the overall experience for both squads.


Our official setup is OF45, however, we are obliged to fly with AF whenever lots of v.pilots are about to participate due to Multiplayer issues, not yet covered by the OF45.

Hence, should we go ahead with the FoF, we have to use the AF (unfortunately


Forgot to mention is that the FoF will take place some day in June. We dont need to rush things

The mission will be prepared by a member of my squad. For the moment gather your v.pilots, find a day (not date yet) that might suits you and I'll come back

Hi, Loven.Good to see you. Just finished my military service and I am back to civilian life again.


Now, I dont ,exactly, remember the structure of the IDL, nonetheless the main idea is -more or less- the same.

The mission will involve western vs. western aircrafts. To be more specific it will involve F-16s for the BLUE and RED side. After all, it is quite demanding for the SA (Situation Awareness) to be fighting in an aerial arena where all aircrafts (BLUE and RED) are of the same type


As for the participation level, well, the squadron (320 vFS) has about 30 v.pilots of mixed experience level

I speak as a representative of e-haf, which contains two virtual fighting squadrons (321 vFS & 391 vFS) and one virtual OCU squadron (321 vTS). As for my self, I am the v.CO of 391 vFS (the most experienced squadron).

The FoF will be conducted against the 320 vFS for the reasons I presented above.



PS😠rhstaras is a member of 320vFS. As for the rest of them, they dont belong to e-haf. and quite frankly I didnt have news from them since last year.

יש פה מפוזרים טייסים טובים לא מעט, אבל מפוזרים, אני אעדכן בהמשך מה שאפשר לעשות, לידיעתכם שדבר כזה יתרחש, והוא לא יהיה דומה לשום דבר שהיה לכם עד היום בסימולטורים.

אני בהחלט מעוניין. המון זמן שלא נגעתי ב AF והתמקדתי רק ב IL2 ושכחתי כמה וכמה מתפעולי המערכות נשק וחלק מה ICP.

אם באמת מתארגנים על ההצעה הזו, נראה לי שכדאי להתחיל להיכנס קצת ל TS ולעשות רענונים קצרים ולהוריד את החלודה הרבה.

Just to say that we didnt forget you.
We just finished a FoF against the spanish Escuadron111.

Just for the story of the thing, 320v.squad (one of the two e-haf squadrons) had assume COMAO role (16 F-16) and the spanish 111vsquad had assume CAP role (8 F-16 + Patriots + Hawks).

It was a very exciting FoF (although I didnt participate. I belong to the second ehaf squad). At the end 320 managed to hit its priority targets, (mission accomplished), although we lost many F-16 due to the presence of unaware SAMs.

There is acmi too.

Now, if you are interesting just let me now here.

yes there are some pilots here which very interested participating at this event.
but we dosent have yet an active group which gather enogh pilots as a wing so if there are any intentions of doing a game anywhere soon the level as a group i assume wont be much of a chalange.

but if we will set a date lets say month from now and in the meen time u will found yourself another wing to figh with.. we will be your greatest chalange.

320vSq of e-haf (blue) had COMAO role and to be more specific to strike an airbase. It did it succesfully.

111sq of Spain had CAP role (defend the airbase)
