רקע:

משבר בגבול בין ברה"מ לגיאורגיה גרם לפריצת החזיתות ובפלישה של בריה"מ לתוך הגבולות הבינלאומיים של גיאורגיה.
כוחות צבא גיאורגיה התחילו בתפיסת אזורים אסטרטגיים בכדי לבצע מארבים לכוחות הרוסים המתקרבים.

Background

DATE: 05/01/1991
TIME: 0900 Hours.

Growing tensions between the Russian government and the Giorgian government due to 2 Russian Mig 29S which patroled inside the Georgian border and got shot down by Georgian Hawk sam sites.

The Russians have moved considerable forces down to the south border, Due to that fact, Georgians Prime Minister requested assistance from the UN to defend his contry.
Meanwhile NATO forces have started placing assets insite Georgian territory.

At around 0930 hours Russian command gave the order to start invading Georgian terrirotry on all fronts, right after, a NATO command order has been given to deploy units to defend major cities and deploy Forward bases behind enemy lines.

The War begins!

After Russian forces have repeatedly crossed the Georgian - Abkhazia border.
Georgian goverment has decided to retaliate with force by attacking one of the Russian airbases.
NATO forces have been given the green light to join the Georgian forces in their effort.

KGB intel reports am imminent attack on Russian soil by Georgian force.
The attack could unstabilize the whole area and lead to a 3rd war with the Georgian army.
President Putin has issued a command to increase patrols in the area, therefore, 2 flights of Mig-23s are patroling the Georgian border.

Look for any incoming attacks on Russian airbases and stop them!

Georgian president has issues a command to attack and capture Sochi - Adler airport and attack Minerlyne Vody airport.
Intel reports say the airport is defended by SA-8 SAM sites, Several Mi-24s and Mig-21s.
