Above is a screenie of the radar screen
I've added some additional graphic to highlight the direction the enemy went in
All that I see in the live screen is the little squares
The squares with the white border are the current positions of single aircraft
The squares with no border are the previous reported position
The large squares are data from Chain home high
The smaller squares are from chain home low
The colours represent height
Dark blue to light blue then red to pink
Blue are 12000ft and below red are higher
It is also a static view that updates evry 10 seconds or so
There are no distinctions between friend and foe
Once a dogfight starts it is impossible to see who is who
The group to the left were the late bombers that went to Middle wallop
The centre circle is the dogfight that IAF and EAF 51 were involved in
The right hand circle are LW bombers, possibly Stukas
that I was trying to get intercepted before the main force from Cherbourg set off
Once that happened I vectored all available aircraft to the Isle of White
You'll also notice that the map is missiong any grid or place names
I've just rectified that and created a new map for the radar screen
Here it is, available as a JPG

My final word is " it's bloody hard work" ...bring back Whiskey ASAP
Middle Wallop.
