Hi gentlemen

Here is a short briefing for tonight

TF Cheeky is on its last leg to Malta, if we can keep it alive in this mission
it will use the next AI mission to get into the supply point and into Fortress malta sector

We still have a chance to win this thing, but we need to be very good
I think we are good enough to pull it off, so just keep your wits about you and hold the ranks together

Convoy movement


As you can see TF "Cheeky" is being "escorted" by TF "Northern Star" and TF "Southern Comfort
They will act as AAA early warning system because they will overtake the main force
and hopefully put themselves on the path of the bombers
at least giving us some warning with their flak

We are putting a force of 6 Spitfires, 4 Hurricanes and 1 Beaufighter
as a primary shield of the convoy

the 4 Spits from Gibraltar (Seafires) will have to conserve fuel since they only have 75% in tanks

Seahurricanes and Spits from Malta should take off in waves with 5 - 10 minute delay
This will enable us to cover the convoy as long as possible.

At the same time A20 will hit Palermo and that Turbine DD west of it, and then join in the CAP

Hitting factories as much as we can can really help us recover some VPs and ultimately can brake the balance into our favor

Since there won't be any convoys to protect in the last 4 missions in the Med, we will concentrate all efforts in dealing the greatest possible damage to the enemy's infrastructure, thus getting some badly needed VPs

B24 flight, together with A20 will start this campaign during this mission

From Malta, attack factories and shipping near Palermo
Then proceed to aid CAP of TF Cheeky


Palermo targets

3x B-24J
From El Adhem, attack factories in Valona (Albanian coast), and proceed
to AO26 to investigate a sighting of an axis surface ship
We believe that it could be a capital ship they are trying to protect by
hiding it at the far end of the map in the Adriatic
If no target is found, attack targets of opportunity on your way to Malta: Taranto, Calabria, Catania
