Hi folks
it will be very interesting for me how the planning comes out in reality
here is the plan in detail
FOUR Martlets (F4F-4 Wildcat) from Fleet-Carrier
loaded with 75% fuel + drop-tanks, take care on take off
Mission is: Air cover beginning W of Malta, landing SE of Malta
THREE Beaufighters from Tobruk
Mission is: ASAP to take position as air cover over the big convoy at AT11
THREE Beaufighters from Sidi Rezegh
Mission is: ASAP to the axis-ships W of Creta, one or two bombing runs
and then ASAP to the big convoy at AT11 as air cover
THREE A-20C Boston from Malta
Mission is: to Strait of Messina against shipping, maybe dividing there for armed recon
ONE for Sicily, ONE for Italy and ONE for Greece. Be loud and visible and ready to hunt axis bombers
ONE PBN Catalina from Malta
Mission is: fly NW to check out 2 axis-contacts at sea, ASW & armed recon
ONE Sunderland from BuQBuQ
Mission is: fly N to Crete and southern Greece, anti-shipping by chance, armed recon
THREE Blenheim from Gazala
Mission is: fly West along the coast, bombing fuel depots and other targets worthy the risk
Weather
Western sky should be still lighted for 30 min, so keep low and east of area to observe
Do not turn on lights near our ships, enemy will see them and attack

מזג אוויר: עננות כבדה בגובה 900 מטר, תנאי ראות גרועים, ללא גשם.

21:30- הסבר מודרך על מחולל המשימות (לכן הקדמתי את שעת המפגש- מי שלא מעוניין יכול בכיף להתייצב בשעה 22:00).
22:00- התכנסות ל-TS של 102 ותדריך למשימה.
22:15- כניסה לשרת + ציוותים למטוסים.
22:30- תחילת משימה (FLY)
